Job summary

Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY is seeking a Supply Chain Technician I to maintain stock levels, restock storerooms, and deliver supplies to clinical areas. The role supports patient care by monitoring par levels, processing requisitions, labeling bins, and collaborating with clinical staff and supply chain teams.

Weekend/holiday work is required; this is a full-time position on the second shift, with duties including inventory control, recalls, and maintaining cleanliness of stock

Responsibilities

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels.
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to areas throughout the hospital to support quality patient care.
• Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care.
• Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits.
• Removes outdated supplies and notifies supervisor of slow-moving inventory.
• Issues and credits materials from the inventory management system.
• Responsible for labeling bins and handling requests to change pars.
• Maintains clean and orderly stock locations.
• Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed.
• Helps in the recall process to pull relevant products as directed by supervisor.
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
• Maintains various carts used for patient care.
• Basic Premier functions.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
