Job summary

Socket.dev is hiring a Hospital Inventory Clerk in Westlake, OH. You will maintain core inventory, replenish supplies in patient-care areas, and track data using handheld devices.

You will act as the main liaison between Material Distribution and nursing units, ensuring accurate shortages communication and PHI compliance. Strong organization and communication are essential in this clinical support role.

Qualifications

• Proficient oral and written communication skills required.
• Stock room, inventory, hospital or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to use PCs and general office equipment (printers, fax, etc.).
• Experience with handheld computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall inventory and replenish supplies in assigned hospital work areas; track information with handheld devices.
• Keep supply areas neat and orderly for accurate counting and removal of outdated items.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Material Distribution and nursing units regarding PAR items and communicate shortages and issues.
• Maintain shelf tag labels with correct item information.
