Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an Inventory Clerk to dispense inventory items and support hospital departments with timely, accurate distribution. This role uses MMIS systems, replenishes stock, and maintains organized storage areas to ensure patient care supplies are available when needed.

Responsibilities include processing requisitions, delivering supplies, and recording charges while adhering to safety and accuracy standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: One year in distribution/inventory control in a healthcare or retail environment.
• Knowledge: Working knowledge of computerized inventory systems.
• Special Training: Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail with excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Enter requisitions into MMIS for expense distribution.
• Complete orders by removing product and preparing for delivery.
• Maintain par carts and par closets in an organized fashion.
• Perform stock replenishment using handheld technology.
• Deliver items to the required department and record charges.
• Notify supervisor of inventory discrepancies and pending orders.
