Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking an Inventory Control Tech to manage receiving, shipping, unpacking, picking, staging, storage, verification, and monitoring of stock and non-stock items for hospital operations. You will work within the hospital data control system to ensure accuracy and timely item classification.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, multitasking, and collaboration with hospital staff to review par levels and delivery information.

Qualifications

1–2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency with Word/Excel and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

Examines incoming shipments to verify receipt of the correct types and quantity of materials and supplies.
Unpacks and inspects items for damage/shortage.
Interacts with data control system to identify classification of items (stock/non-stock).
Stores items at designated locations accurately.
Performs par level counts as assigned and inputs levels to produce pick letters.
Interacts with customers to review par levels, as well as receiving and delivery information.
Maintains records of material and supplies and related materials management activities.
Picks and stages items for shipment to vendors.
