Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA is seeking an HVAC Technician to operate, inspect, repair and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will follow ASHRAE/FGI guidelines, use the CMMS for preventive tasks, and respond to service requests to ensure reliable patient environment.

The role requires 3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and state certifications. A valid driver’s license and UCFC recovery certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of technical experience in building engineering with HVAC/R focus.
• EPA 608 or 609 Universal Certificate preferred.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, repair and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Respond to service requests and minimize downtime.
• Maintain air pressure, temperature, and humidity per ASHRAE/FGI guidelines.
• Utilize CMMS for preventive maintenance tasks.
