Job summary

Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our facilities team. This full-time, variable shift role focuses on maintaining and repairing hospital HVAC systems to ensure patient comfort and safety.

You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on air handlers, heat pumps, boilers, and controls, and may float to support other hospital-owned properties as needed. EPA 608 certification and 1–2 years of related training are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years formal training in mechanical or construction trades.
• National EPA Section 608 Certification upon hire.
• 2 years of HVAC operations experience in an industrial institutional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment and related systems in a hospital setting.
• Evaluate effectiveness of HVAC equipment, controls, and related systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Float to support off-site hospital-owned properties as needed.
