Job summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, NM seeks a full-time HVAC Mechanic to support the Building Operations department. Day shift Monday–Friday with possible on-call on emergencies.

Maintenance, repair, and operation of HVAC/R systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for patients and staff. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, BAS monitoring, and accurate documentation of labor and parts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial or healthcare facility HVAC/R maintenance.
• Experience working in a hospital or medical facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs HVAC/R systems including air handlers, chillers, boilers, pumps, and VAV systems.
• Responds promptly to urgent service requests and facility emergencies.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and documents findings.
• Monitors building automation systems (BAS) and environmental controls for energy efficiency.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities and compliance checks.
