Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking an HVAC Mechanic experienced in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating to inspect, repair and maintain systems in a hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or trade school, 1 year post-secondary training preferred, proficiency with direct digital controls (DDC), and a Journeyman's license by end of year one. Competenze

• High school diploma/equivalent or Trade School (Required).
• 1 year post-secondary/vocational training in air conditioning, refrigeration, math, physics, chemistry, and basic mechanics is preferred.
• Candidate must be proficient with direct digital controls (DDC).
• Universal certification preferred.
• Journeyman's license for Heating Vent and AC must be attained by the end of the first year of employment.
