The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Charleston VA Medical Center is seeking an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC&R systems and controls across the facility.

The role requires EPA Certifications I-III, demonstrated HVAC experience, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards while performing preventive maintenance and system enhancements in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• EPA Certifications per 40 CFR Part 82; Subpart F for refrigerants.
• Evidence of training/experience required; detail duties on resume.

Responsabilités

• Repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining and installing HVAC systems in hospital settings.
• Installing and maintaining refrigerators, freezers, and ice machines used for patient care.
• Operate and repair environmental control systems, sensors, actuators and LAN devices.
