Job summary

Liberty Hospital is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across units, including patient rooms and surgical areas. You will manage staff, schedule work, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years of related experience, with hands-on knowledge of cleaning equipment and supply management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Liberty, MO.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 2 or more years of related experience.
• Operational knowledge of strippers, buffers and shampooers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning of multiple units and communicate performance issues to the Manager.
• Order flat linen daily and stock linen supply room.
• Order supplies and monitor weekly inventory of paper products and chemicals.
• Train and precept housekeepers in performance of duties.
• Ensure contracted service crew completes assigned work and quality of work.
• Maintain professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the unit or department.
• Clean offices, patient rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and other areas as needed.
• Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, mattresses, furniture, window coverings, floors and carpets.
• Replenish supplies and manage floors (stripping, waxing, shampooing).
• Promote effective teamwork and professional behavior; adhere to policies and procedures.
