Job summary

Sanford Health is hiring Custodians, Housekeepers and Janitors to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. The role operates on day shifts with a 32-hour workweek and a salary range of $15.50–$23.00 per hour.

Training, health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and DailyPay are available as part of the benefits package. Responsibilities include ensuring facilities meet standards, supplying staff with necessary tools, handling service requests, and assisting with training and inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and comfortable per applicable standards.
• Provide staff with equipment and supplies for daily assignments.
• Respond to service requests and assist with training and QA inspections.
• Assist with minor equipment maintenance and project work.
• Support occasional coverage for sick calls and department needs.
