Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an Environmental Services Associate at Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Connecticut. The role is full-time, day shift, 40 hours per week, focusing on cleaning and sanitizing patient areas and hospital facilities.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, restocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment consistent with hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic written instructions in English.
• 3+ months of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Must be able to safely move, lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. individually.
• Requires working with cleaning chemicals and products in a safe manner.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and other motions involved in the cleaning process.
• Floorcare Experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Receives cleaning assignments and materials from designated areas.
• Cleans furnishings, tile, fixtures and equipment with germicidal solutions.
• Strip and make beds with fresh linens after patient dismissal and restock supplies.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors; arrange furniture after cleaning.
• Inspects area for cleanliness and reports equipment needing repair.
• Move furniture and equipment using carts or dollies as needed.
• Handle large floor and carpet cleaning tasks with appropriate equipment.
• Disinfect walls, windows, and doors and remove stains.
