Job summary

Memorial Healthcare is seeking a dedicated housekeeping aide to maintain high standards of cleanliness across patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, and administrative spaces. You will use cleaning chemicals and PPE to sanitize surfaces, wipe equipment, dust, mop floors, vacuum carpets, and ensure restrooms and common areas are well-presented for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, handling laundry portions, and supporting a patient- and family-centered care

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred. On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning assigned areas.
• Dust mop, mop and vacuum per department procedures.
• Empty and sanitize waste receptacles daily; replenish supplies.
• Clean patient rooms and public restrooms; replenish towels and soap.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain stocked carts and closets at end of shift.
• Complete monthly side work and support the hospital mission.
