Job summary

University Behavioral Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), in Orlando, FL, seeks a Per-Diem Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper to maintain a clean, aseptic environment across the facility.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and occasional deep cleaning in patient and non-patient areas. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and adherence to facility safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Background screening and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned areas of the facility, including residential units, common areas, and non-patient spaces.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect all areas.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks such as wall/window cleaning and vent cleaning as needed.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, and prioritize tasks to minimize disruption to patients and staff.
