Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Housekeeper to join the Florence Environmental Services Team. Shift is Full Time 40 Hours, First Shift, cleaning and maintaining patient and non-patient areas within the hospital.

Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in every interaction with patients, families and staff, regardless of background. No prior experience required and training provided on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• No previous experience required.
• Willingness to work in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning in patient and non-patient areas to provide a clean, safe environment.
• Complete detailed cleaning tasks weekly or at discharge/transfer to meet QA standards.
• Clean, sanitize and deodorize restrooms to meet quality expectations.
• Remove trash from cleaned areas to central disposal locations.
• Attend in-service programs and Net Learning modules as required.
• Follow safety steps to ensure personal and patient safety and compliance.
