St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team at the Edgewood location. The position is Full Time, 40 hours per week, Second Shift, maintaining patient and non-patient areas to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• No previous experience required
• Non-Exempt

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning in patient and non-patient areas to provide a clean and safe hospital environment.
• Completes detailed cleaning duties weekly or on discharge/transfer to achieve high QA inspections and patient satisfaction.
• Cleans, sanitizes and deodorizes restrooms to meet quality expectations.
• Removes trash to a central location to aid removal from the building.
• Attends in-service programs and completes Net Learning modules as required.
• Follows safety steps to ensure personal and patient safety and compliance with safety standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide services based on growth and development over the life span.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
