Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) in Nampa. The role focuses on cleaning and disinfecting hospital areas, replenishing supplies, and preparing patient rooms to ensure patient safety and a high standard of care.

The ideal candidate will follow safety standards, handle confidential information, and work 40 hours per week on the day shift with additional weekend rotation as required.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients and visitors.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety protocols.
• Comfortable working around blood and bodily fluids with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect various areas within the hospital to maximize infection prevention and safety.
• Prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning, and organizing.
• Clean carpets and refrigerators as needed and dispose of medical items per policy.
• Operate within a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and confidentiality.
