Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. in Oxford, MS is hiring two second-shift Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi. This on-site, part-time role offers an hourly pay rate of $13.37 and includes every other weekend and holiday.

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers will work on client premises, cleaning and maintaining hospital facilities. A high school diploma or GED is required; post-offer medical, background screening and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transprots trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Job Overview:

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
