Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 2nd shift at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH. Hourly pay rate is $15.00 with rotating weekends/holidays and a tentative schedule of 3:00p - 11:30p. Part-time schedules are also available, up to 3 days a week.

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers clean and maintain facilities on client premises, following standard health and safety guidelines. Responsibilities vary by account and site requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors; dust furniture and equipment; polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, and windows; clean door panels and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area; replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment between departments.

Job Overview

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Job Qualifications
