Job summary

St. David's HealthCare is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join the Environmental Services team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. You will clean facility areas following leadership expectations and safety guidelines to ensure a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety and sanitation standards, maintaining uniforms, reporting hazards, and collaborating with leadership to enhance patient experience. Prior experience in healthcare or housekeeping is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare Preferred
• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service related field Preferred

The Environmental Services I Hospitality Associate is responsible for cleaning areas of the facility in accordance with expectations of the center’s leadership team.

What you will do in this role:

• Adhere to expectations around safety and sanitation.
• Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.
• Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement.
• Identify under-serviced and/or unserviced areas and how services can be provided.
• Adapt cleaning processes to add efficiency and effectiveness around the center.
• Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred
• 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service related field Preferred
