Job summary

St. Davids Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper PRN in Austin, TX. You’ll clean clinical and non-clinical areas, follow safety policies, and support environmentally safe practices in a fast-paced hospital setting.

We value a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of healthcare or housekeeping experience. This PRN role offers flexible hours and a mission to maintain a safe, clean patient environment across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility according to policy.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.
• Maintain uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
• Report hazards and unsafe work conditions.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policy. Will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.

Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.

Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time

Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.

What qualifications you will need:

High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred

1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred

1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred
