Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe clinical and non-clinical areas in accordance with hospital policy. You will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The role requires adherence to safety and sanitation policies, proper handling of regulated medical waste and hazardous materials, and maintaining uniform standards. Experience in healthcare or housekeeping is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred
• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policy.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.
• Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.
