Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Mount Pleasant, SC, is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe clinical and non-clinical areas according to hospital policy. You will also support sanitation, waste handling, and uniform standards while reporting hazards to your supervisor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of healthcare or housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas following policy.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of hazardous materials, waste and linen.
• Maintain Environmental Service uniform and appearance standards at all times.
• Report hazards and unsafe conditions promptly.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policy. Will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.
• Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
• 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred
