Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a House Supervisor to lead nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care across all hospital functions. You will collaborate with the nursing management team, coordinate staffing, and oversee admissions, discharges, and emergency response during assigned shifts.

The role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence, and interdepartmental coordination within a large acute-care setting in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license in the state(s) of practice or active compact license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality, patient-centered care through direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift.
• Participate as an active member of the nursing management team and assume authority when hospital administration is absent.
• Assign nursing staff to clinical areas to meet patient care needs and adjust staffing levels as needed.
• Manage admissions and discharges to ensure efficient throughput and coordinated care.
• Respond to all emergency codes and act as a resource for employee health issues.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma

Active RN licensure in state(s) of practice or compact license

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
