Qualifications

• Three months of related groundskeeping experience.
• Completion of grammar school or equivalent.
• Driver's license from any state required at hire.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums and cleans debris in parking lot areas.
• Weeds, mows, trims, cleans and rakes lawn and plant beds; waters grounds.
• Fertilizes hedges and plant beds; applies pesticides per policy and safety rules.
• Inspects and repairs irrigation systems; monitors water flow and conservation.
• Designs landscape plans as directed; plants vegetation and replaces damaged vegetation.
• Maintains exterior drains; cleans and flushes.
• Maintains small landscaping equipment; performs repairs as needed.
• Reports supplies and tools needed for grounds maintenance.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity in care and service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
