Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri, seeks a Grill Cook to join the Food and Nutrition department. You will take orders, prepare grilled and fried items, and ensure food is served at correct temperatures with excellent customer service.

The role is full-time with rotating weekends/holidays and daily pay options. Prior cooking experience is beneficial, and a High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Chill and store foods following labeling, dating and safety guidelines.
• Clean kitchen equipment and work areas to high sanitation standards.
• Serve as a primary customer service representative for food and nutrition services.
• Prepare grilled and fried items using flat top grill, char-broiler and deep fat fryer.
• Ensure proper and consistent food portioning.
