Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont, is seeking a part-time Hospital Greeter/Transport to help the smooth flow of patients, visitors and employees through designated entrances. This role greets and directs individuals and provides transport within the hospital by wheelchair or stretcher.
Shifts are 12p-5p, four days per week (20 hours) with non-exempt status. Training and basic clerical support may be required, and the position is based at designated entrances.

Responsible for the smooth flow of patients, visitors and employees through designated entrances to the hospital. This position will greet and direct all entering the facility. The position will also be required to escort (via foot or wheelchair) and direct patients and visitors to various areas of the facility. Position will be based at designated entrances to the hospital. The position will also provide transport of in-house patients (by wheelchair or stretcher) within the hospital to different departments for testing or return the patient back to their room. The Greeter/Transport person will also make half hourly runs of lab specimens from the Richards Building Lab to the Main Lab.
OSHA Category I - Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues require use of techniques of Universal Precautions as evidenced with blood borne pathogens standards.

The listed range represents the pay scale reasonably expected for a successful candidate based on factors such as relevant experience, education, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Final compensation will be determined during the hiring process.
