Job summary

Delta Health is seeking a Commercial HVAC Mechanic to maintain and repair critical building systems across hospital facilities. You will install, service, and troubleshoot HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and related systems in a 24/7 healthcare environment.

Requires 2+ years in commercial HVAC, EPA 608 certification, and on-call availability with a Colorado license preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial mechanical experience.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Universal preferred).
• Experience with boilers, steam and hydronic systems, pumps, motors, air handlers, valves and piping.
• On-call response within 30 minutes as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC, refrigeration, heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
• Service boilers, hydronic and steam systems, pumps, motors, air handlers, valves, piping, water, sewer, and gas systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Handle refrigerants per EPA Section 608 regulations, including recovery and recycling.
• Read blueprints and equipment manuals to complete repairs and installations.
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; minimize waste and overstock.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO, infection control, and hospital safety standards.
• Prioritize work to protect patient-care areas; maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional alternate shifts.
