Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital is hiring a Food Service Worker I to support patient food service, trayline, dish duties and sanitation under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisor.

You will wash dishes, distribute meal carts to nursing units, collect trays, and keep pantries and storerooms stocked. This role offers morning and evening shifts with weekend coverage and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year minimum of 1-2 years of food service experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Wash patient dishes, trays, pots and pans.
• Mop floors and maintain cleanliness.
• Distribute meal carts to nursing units for tray delivery.
• Collect trays from units and transport them.
• Restock pantry, storeroom, freezer and refrigerator.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
