Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior institutional experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively. Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions. Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food to patients as assigned, following guidelines and accurate tallies.
• Transports food and supplies to designated areas within the hospital or cafeteria.
• Operates machines and equipment used in food preparation and sanitation, safely and efficiently.
• Maintains cleanliness of the work area, refrigerates and labels perishable items, and stores supplies orderly.
• May perform environmental service duties as needed.
• Performs related duties as required.
