Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediately for a full-time Food Unit Lead at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. This role coordinates activities of other food-service staff and creates an enjoyable dining experience for patients, staff and visitors.

The position requires prior food-service or customer-service leadership experience in healthcare or hospitality, with daily/weekly/monthly reporting, staff meetings, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel in a timely manner, following department procedures.
• Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in TouchPoint policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily associate team meetings following TouchPoint guidelines and focus points.
• Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverages in accordance with standards.
• Train employees; assign and coordinate work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
