Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective interpersonal communication and friendly customer service.
• Ability to learn POS cash register system and food handling regulations.
• Ability to calculate change accurately.
• Food handlers' card required within 30 days of hire for Banner Staffing Services.
• For BSS team members in Tucson and Colorado, the food handlers' card is not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately records all sales in the POS; transacts payments with customers.
• Stores, counts, deposits and maintains register cash and receivables.
• Maintains all assigned stations, keeping them clean, well-stocked, and attractive.
• Provides service to customers, meeting standards and guidelines; responds to complaints.
• May perform cleaning, stocking, sign maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• This position is in contact with patients, other food service department personnel, hospital staff, visitors and families.
