Advocate Health Care in Chicago is seeking a Dietary Service Aide to support meal service operations and patient nourishment preparation. You will prepare service lines, assemble patient trays, and ensure timely delivery of meals to nursing units, while maintaining cleanliness and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with service requests, reporting needs to the Diet Office, and adhering to HACCP and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare service line for meal service and service customers.
• Ability to deliver routine food orders including food carts to nursing units.
• Ability to assemble patient nourishment.
• Ability to requisition supplies.
• Ability to clean and maintain areas as assigned.
• Ability to easily follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate/respond to a phone.

Responsabilités

• Informs customers of services, assists with service requests, reports to the Support Center.
• Communicates with the Coordinator and Diet Office daily as required.
• Reports customer needs, expectations and status to Coordinator/Diet Office.
• Responds promptly to communications (oral & written).
• Prepare service lines for meal service and serve customers.
• Prepare patient trays and assemble trays as assigned.
