Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Bay Minette, AL is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker to prepare, present and serve meals in a patient-centered environment. Location: North Baldwin Infirmary, 1815 Hand Avenue.

You will work a 7:00 am to 7:00 pm schedule, Sunday through Saturday, with details provided during interview. Prior food service experience is preferred, and training is provided to help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays between work stations, stove and refrigerator per safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures sanitation and safety requirements are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
