Responsibilities

• Washware duties according to established procedures to ensure quality service.
• Prepare patient tray line for meal service and dispense food for patient meals. Prepare Retail Areas for all meal service.
• Notify supervisor when food quantities are low to avoid service disruption.
• Prepare production according to menu, production sheets, or count sheets.
• Prepare items for modified diets as indicated, pre-dishing according to procedures.
• Assemble late trays accurately, ensuring proper temperatures and visual appeal.
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner; complete cleaning tasks within timeframe.
• Operate equipment safely and report damaged equipment to the supervisor.
• Operate the menu system.
• Address customer service concerns promptly and, if necessary, report to management.
• Maintain department records, logs, and files as required.
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
