Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at 11903 Davie Medical Center - Food and Nutrition. 24 hours per week, schedule includes weekends and evenings.

You will assemble patient and mobile meal trays, deliver to rooms, handle cafeteria service, and assist with catering events. Prior food service experience not required.

Requires basic food service knowledge, good communication, and ability to read orders; expects adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in food service from within hospital/food service.
• Ability to read and understand written and oral communications.
• Good communication and customer service skills to interact with customers.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office or similar products.

Responsibilities

• Assembles patient and mobile meal trays in accordance with approved diet guidelines and productivity standards.
• Delivers patient meal trays to patient rooms and transports to units.
• Assists with cafeteria service, operates cash register, and handles daily reports as needed.
• Performs cleaning duties and sanitation procedures in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Assists with catering events and presentation of food items.
