Job summary

Garfield Park Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a part-time Food Services Associate to ensure quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors in a hospital setting. You will prepare patient snacks, set trays, serve staff meals, and assist in beverages and desserts while maintaining a safe, sanitary environment according to policy and regulatory standards.

Candidates should have experience in hospital food service or educational programs, and a High School Diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in quantity food preparation in hospital, long term care, or with educational food service programs.

Responsibilities

• Assures that quality food services are rendered to patients, employees, visitors, Medical Staff, and other allied health professionals in accordance with standards, rules and regulations.
• Prepares patient snacks, sets patient trays, serves staff meals, assists in preparation and service of beverages, vegetables, salads and desserts as assigned.
