Job summary

The Oregon Health Authority is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform a range of daily food service tasks at the Salem Campus, including setting up condiments, portioning food, preparing trays, serving on lines, clearing, and cleaning dining areas. The role requires a Food Handlers Certification or HACCP training and adherence to dietary orders.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in customer or food service.
• Must have a Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of appointment OR HACCP training at appointment.
• Must always be current & certified in safe hood handling certifications.
• Valid Oregon Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up condiments and pan food, portion food, prepare trays, serve on food lines, clear and clean dining and serving areas.
• Put away stock and kitchenettes, wash dishes, pots, and pans in a volume dining facility.
• Ensure the various dietary needs of clients, patients, students, and inmates are met and review prescribed dietary orders.
• Follow portion control guidelines.
