Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and read/write simple sentences.
• 100 hours training in use of kitchen equipment and food production practices (or 1 month experience).
• Must pass physical exam. Must have basic computer skills and previous food service experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstation(s) and prepare and portion salads, sandwiches, fruit and desserts for patient and cafeteria meals.
• Portion and assemble food for trays and correctly store all foods.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• May work in Central Kitchen, Season’s Cafe Deli, or Patient Hospitality Centers.
