Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Floor Technician for a full-time day shift. The role focuses on the maintenance and care of hospital floors using standard cleaning techniques and equipment.

You will ensure safe handling of chemicals and leverage cross-trained EST I skills for coverage as required. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience, with healthcare/hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience is required in lieu of high school education.
• Healthcare/Hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors through mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing.
• Practice safe work habits with chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Cross-trained to EST I competencies to cover cleaning duties when needed.
