Job summary

Sentara RMH Health is hiring a Floor Technician for a full-time day shift in Harrisonburg, VA. The role focuses on floor maintenance including mopping, scrubbing, stripping and polishing, with attention to safe chemical use.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and about 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience; healthcare hospitality experience is a plus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and education support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School education.
• Experience as Environmental Associate - 1 year (Required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors by mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing.
• Practice safe work habits with chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Cross trained to EST I competencies to cover cleaning duties when needed.
