Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a Floor Technician for a full-time opening at St Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

The position requires prior floor technician experience, and responsibilities include stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and carpet care. Schedule is full-time with rotating weekends; uniforms and safety shoes are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a floor care technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Capable of frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance; perform stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and buffing.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large-area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, spotting, vacuuming.
• Execute restorative processes for all floor types.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by manager.
