Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a full-time Floor Technician at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. You will perform floor maintenance, restoration, and operate industrial floor care equipment.The ideal candidate has prior floor care experience, knowledge of floor care methods, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This position includes uniforms and safety shoes, with rotating weekends and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and refinishing procedures.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing.
• Conduct maintenance and restoration for all floor types.
• Take on other duties as assigned by manager.
