Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Floor Technician in Manassas, VA for a full-time shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with rotating weekends. Prior floor care experience and knowledge of floor care equipment are preferred, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The role includes floor stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and carpet care as part of daily responsibilities. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and a commitment to patient-centered healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
