Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

The position offers full-time/part-time schedules with variable hours, with prior floor care experience required and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
