Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a 2nd Shift Hospital Floor Tech at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, TX.

The role involves cleaning and maintaining facilities on client premises, following defined duties and standards to ensure a clean, safe healthcare environment. Daily responsibilities include monitoring areas, mopping, dusting and floor care, with opportunities to perform project work and area-cleaner tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper and debris.
• Cleans all corners, edges and baseboards in the assigned areas.
• Dust mop all hard floor areas, cleaning behind doors and moving objects in the floor area that are movable.
• Remove all marks/scuffs on the floor.
• Damp mop floors with the proper cleaning chemical or use a scrubbing machine.
• Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned.
• Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
• Scrubs floors and strips floors as needed or assigned.
• May perform "Area Cleaner" job duties.
• Performs related work as required.
