Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Part-Time Hospital Housekeepers for 1st Shift at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, TX.

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers clean and keep in an orderly condition facilities or locations on a health care campus, with responsibilities that may vary by account. Daily duties include cleaning rooms and common areas, stocking supplies, and transporting small equipment.

Qualifications

• Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
