You will operate electric and battery-powered equipment, follow strict PPE rules, and assist with waste disposal and housekeeping tasks. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently within a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in environmental services preferred.
• Understanding of environmental regulations and waste management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors using electric and battery-powered equipment maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
• Follow PPE requirements to protect against exposure to hazards.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks and move equipment under supervision.
• Move and dispose of biohazardous waste and regular trash properly.
• Maintain PPE in good condition and follow safety procedures.
• Provide a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Complete hard-surface floor refinishing and carpet cleaning with attention to detail.
• Attend to assigned duties to meet department goals.
• Maintain regular attendance and respond to changing priorities.
