Jackson General is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to perform major floor cleaning and refinishing across the facility. You will interact with patients and families including neonates to geriatrics, following prescribed procedures and schedules.

The role reports to the unit supervisor and requires 8-hour shifts, five days per week with every other weekend, with potential call backs and overtime as needed.

Qualificações

• Two weeks of on-the-job training in department.

Responsabilidades

• Perform cleaning in assigned areas following schedules and methods.
• Dust mop, wet/spot mop, scrub floors with auto scrubbing machine, burnish.
• Strip and refinish or scrub/re-coat flooring; clean carpeted floors and walls.
• Hang drapes, move furniture, set up meeting rooms, assist with spills.
• Maintain equipment and keep area clean; report malfunctions.
• Respond to emergencies; maintain safety and flexible hours.
• Interact with patients, visitors and staff to provide quality housekeeping.
• Make decisions about refinishing procedures and reporting safety hazards.
• Submit decisions to ES manager for prior approval as needed.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.
