West Tennessee Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Associate at a Jackson hospital to perform cleaning duties in designated areas and maintain an aseptic environment. You will interact with patients and families while following department procedures and schedules.

The role requires 8–10 hour shifts, with a schedule that may include every other weekend or two weekends with an off-weekend, and on-call/overtime as needed. Training is provided by the department.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Be able to follow written and oral instructions and to record assignments completed in basic log.
• Two weeks of on the job training in department.

Responsabilités

• Perform cleaning in assigned areas following established schedules and methods.
• Dust surfaces, empty trash, damp wipe fixtures, polish restroom fixtures daily.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions; assist in cleaning spills and dismissals; attend meetings and trainings.
